She currently serves as an investigative and political reporter for WCVB-TV, ABC's Boston affiliate. == Early life and career == She was born in Bridgewater, New Jersey and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1972.〔 Wu worked as a reporter for United Press International from 1973 until 1978 when she joined WGBH-TV, Boston's public television station, as the Massachusetts State House reporter until 1983. In January 1983, Wu joined WCVB-TV NewsCenter 5 as their State House reporter, and in 2006 she became a team member of WCVB’s investigative unit, ''Team 5 Investigates''.
